week 1

Well the first week back at work has gone well....busy as Myer at stocktake time but it just flew and bonus we get a public holiday at the end of the week as a reward.
A holiday that seems to be causing some controversy at the moment but it doesn't hurt to consider what Australia Day means to all Australians.
Good opportunity to keep up the blog posts... I'm a bit worried that once I catch up there might not be much to blog about lol.
Here are some more of my finishes from last year that I promised
I had started quilting my little houses by hand and it was not very pretty, I can tell you, so I asked the wonderful Fiona if she would quilt it for me. She happily obliged so I unpicked the rows I had quilted and Voila!! Fiona magic!

This flimsy's day had come to be quilted.....so it too went to visit Fiona.
She did such a fantastic job bringing out the best in the blocks. I am looking forward to organising a few more to send to her this year.
(Once upon a time flimsy)

This bear paw was my oldest flimsy.... I think it was one of the early quilts I made.
Jemima's quilted this for me and it is gorgeous. Only a small quilt that I use as a runner on the foot of our bed. Love it!!

well that's a bit of a catch up for today.
I am hoping to get some basting done after piecing the backing for my Gossip in the garden.
In the meantime I am happily working on smaller projects, though even those haven't seen much action. This working sure does hinder my crafting at the moment
Have a great day!
Marina

  15. Hi Marina.
The glitches are still there not letting me reply to your comment.
Even the ones that worked before.
    So here I am again.

    Thanks, Marina.
I am hoping we can both keep on track.
If you already have the patterns you are more than welcome to join us. No pressure.
I am loving these easy days in the low 20s. I had to head out and mow today and it was a pleasure to be outside.
Wasn't the rain wonderful. My garden is so happy.
Looks like a good weekend ahead. Hope you have some plans to enjoy it.
    Cheers, Karen

    Lovely ornaments.
I have them downloaded too. Waiting for the inspiration bolt to hit.
Cool change came through around 4.30 here. Felt like dancing in the light rain!

Been awhile.....

Well it's been two years since I last blogged a post and life has been flying by. Time has been spent and wasted on other social media ...
