some finishing and some new homes wanted.....

Instead of going to the Craft show I have made some time for myself by getting the sewing machine out and finishing some little projects that needed to be finished off.
First this little pretty, I so love it finished. Just as I thought it was finished I had to unpick and restitch and requilt the centre flower as it was crooked. I just couldn't live with it, call me ocd. Should've given it a press before happy snapping too, I think, but it is straight.

 Finished this little table topper....
these little cross stitched pieces were waiting to be made up, they wait no longer...

They are backed in felted wool

Now to the bit about new homes....
I have these patterns that I don't forsee using at all so rather than them taking up space anymore at my place perhaps you would like to have them take up room at your place.....please let me know in your comments.
If there is more than one person wanting a pattern I will draw a name out of a hat in a week or so...

Please note the adoption offers are for the patterns only, or if you would like to make an offer on one of the male persons that live in this house please feel free. All offers considered, you don't even have to guarantee a good home!

cheers for now
Marina

  1. I love all your little projects. They are gorgeous. I would have straightened the centre hexie too if it was crooked.

  2. Well done Marina for all those finishes! The wee hexy flowers quilt is so cute!

    Love the x-stitch scissors!

Can't believe you'd give away the males in the house- think you are bluffing! No patterns for me thanks - I should be doing the same as you!

  4. Looks like you made good use of your time. Love the red and white/cream pieces.
You only missed out on lots of inspiration and opportunity for admiration. There was a quilt there which immediately made me think you 10,000 + 1/2"hexies! Amazing.

  5. How wonderful to spend your time finishing, rather than buying new projects. And they are all so gorgeous. Love your little hexie mini, and I totally understand the need to restitch. You have some lovely patterns there, but alas, they would only wait on my shelf too.

  7. Thank you for your generous offer, but a pattern is much easier to handle than another male in the house.
Sounds like you were having a bad day but with all those finishes, it must have been a good day.
Love the little hexies and the dresden. They look great in red and white.

  13. I love all your gorgeous finishes Marina, and your males are gorgeous too, I know they would only be gone five minutes and you would want them back, so I will kindly let them stay with you.
Thank you for the offer of the patterns, but like others I have too many unused ones here.

  14. What a very productive weekend you've had Marina. Love all your finished projects, but have a soft spot for that gorgeous hexie mini - looks great on your stand. Would be interested in the Quilted Crow patterns Marina and happy to share with anyone else interested as well

  19. Great use of your time Marina - lovely finishes, both your table topper and the mini hexie-flowers are gorgeous. It's a great idea to put the scissor keep beind the pin cushion. Thank you for the kind offer of the patterns, it's very tempting but I too am overflowing with them already :-)

  21. I have a lovely 22 yr old girl who might like to meet any of the males in your house! Seriously though you would soon want them back. Andrew has just said about the "I like to give homemade gifts... which one of my children would you like" card. Love your finishes and I also have soooooo many unused patterns that I need to leave yours with you.

  25. Well done with the finishes Marina - having had our boys move off overseas this year I think I will pass on taking one of your males unless it is one of the curly coated ones - could be tempted then. Love the peace Quilt pattern but think it is way out of my league, will just look form afar I think!!

hello

Time is getting away from me it would be lovely to be able to slow it down. Crafting inspiration seems to be lacking as I try to finish off...
