Sweet William...

Last block completed 24th of September!
fabrics purchased and cut for the alternate blocks and edges, pinned ready to sew together.
couldn't decide on which fabric, the peach was the first to jump out at me, then the butter yellow. So why not use both!

trimmed ready to go...no great stressing about placement, just mindful of background fabrics being varied and flower colours being spread out a bit.

After an enthusiastic start, some failures, some disappointments.....then some assistance..............
I am back on track with this project. These are the blocks so far.

got so excited about this project again that I organised all my patterns and instructions

Your blocks look beautiful! Now I want to make that quilt too, but I'd best wait till I've got a few others finished! :-) Have a great weekend!! Hugs, H in Healdsburg

I love your blocks. I have this pattern on my to do list and have it tucked away in my pattern drawer. I wont start until I finish the Swan Lake quilt first. I am looking forward to following your progress.
