a new project...

Well my new project arrived this week thanks to Karen of Mrs Martins quilt shop.
I will hopefully start this soon but there are a few little things to get finished first.
It's such a lovely bom and I just need to decide what colours, will I make 12 minis or one big quilt. Decisions, decisions..
some more progress on this Once upon a time block, and yes it was the three little pigs...

.
My progress has been halted due to running out of cotton. I will have to get them tomorrow.

Just had to share this pic of Miss Maisie.
We are thinking of changing her title to Madam Horizontal.
I went into the bedroom and she was asleep on the bed and she was so stretched out , talk about relaxed, I so want to be a cat!

Have a great weekend.

Oh, I just love your new pattern... it is going to be such fun and just perfect for your skill level..... how annoying to run out of cotton just then.... hope you find what you need.... oh yes, I think to be a cat in the next life is the answer...
Have a fantastic weekend

I do like Kathy Schmitz patterns.
Peter Cottontail looks great. Have fun with that one.
Those little piggies are looking good, too. What a nuisance to run out of thread when you are in the middle of stitching..

Oh I like the look of your new project and it is nice to see how your '3 little pigs' block is growing. Two very cute projects. Miss Maisie looks like she lives a great life - no wonder when there are lovely quilts and blankets to lie on!!

How can you not start stitching that Mr Easter Bunny right now? Very cute. I think I will take a leaf out of Miss Maisies book this weekend.

Gorgeous new project Marina, I know that you will do a wonderful job of it - love the cat... pets always think every bed or soft surface is there for their own particular amenity, don't they?! x

Cats don't do stitching though! She looks so relaxed.

Love the little pigs - just hoping Mr Wolf is out of the way!

You have been busy Miss Marina! Did you do this all by yourself or did your aide assist? Hahaha
Your stitching is just so perfect and a quilt from your new BOM would look wonderful.
