tuesday treasures.

My treasures this week are two little dogs that were given to me when I was around 11-12 years old.
They were from my best friend at primary school. She knew how much I loved dogs and I have held onto them all these years and they remind me of those years that we practically lived at each other's house and were best friends. We lost track of each other in our mid teens. Different schools, different friends.
These remind me of those times. They now live in my dresser guarding the other treasures in there.
Have a great Tuesday, the sun is out (for now) and I am off to get ready for work!
cheers
Marina

These are so cute and it's lovely that you have them to remember a friend by. They look so serious there doing their job.

Awww how cute they are! I know what you mea about losing contact with friends. I was best friends with my kindergarten best friend all through years 1, 2, and 3, when we moved to QLD and she was left in NSw. We stayed in contact though and were still best friends right through primary and high school until we went to uni. I do hear from her sometimes, but we aren't nearly as close as we were, and I miss that.
I'm glad you have something as cute as these puppies to remind you of your primary school friend days!

They are so lovely and so special. Really nice that you've hung on to them over the years. Also like that blue willow that they're guarding lol!

So your love of dogs started a long time ago. Do you ever look for your friend? I met up with a few old school friends recently and we had a lovely time.

Those are too cute, I have a weakness for little dog figurines! But the best part is the memories.

so cute and it amazing that you still have them from such a young age. I don't have anything of mine when I was that young.
